Faith Is the Substance
Faith is not wishful thinking. Scripture calls it “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Faith gives weight and reality to what God has promised, before your eyes ever see it. It stands on what God said, not on what circumstances show.
That is why faith speaks. Jesus told us to speak to the mountain, not just about it (Mark 11:23). When you pray from faith, you are not begging heaven to maybe move — you are agreeing out loud with what heaven has already declared, and calling your life into line with it.
So don’t measure your situation against your problem. Measure it against His promise. Hold to the Word, speak it, and refuse to quit — for the God who cannot lie stands behind every word He has spoken.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1
