The night an atheist doctor came home shaking — because for the first time in his life, he had seen the unseen with his own eyes.
There was a night an atheist doctor came home from a bar shaking, because for the first time in his life he had seen demons with his own eyes.
His name is Salad Vang. He was a man of science — credentialed, confident, and certain that God did not exist. He had spent years mocking the faith of his own wife. But heaven had already been moving in the room he never thought to look.
While he slept, Tsee slipped into the spare bedroom night after night, got on her knees, and prayed for a husband who dismissed everything she believed. She prayed for years — not when it was easy, not when anything was changing, but with a desperate, all-in, nothing-held-back hunger.
On the morning of November 30, 2014, her prayers were answered — not gradually, but all at once. Salad grabbed her hands, they knelt on the bed, and she began to pray. Tears started falling from his eyes and he did not know why.
Then the room filled with light.
Pure, radiant, living light — as if heaven had opened a door directly above them. When he could finally speak, he said, “I could taste honey on my tongue.” He fell to the floor sobbing and saw Jesus on the cross, His blood shed for him. For the first time in his life, he felt the love of a Father. The atheist doctor surrendered to the living God.

Weeks later, on December 27, 2014, the glory of God filled their bedroom again. This time Tsee heard His voice — not with her physical ear, but unmistakably in her spirit:
“I will reveal Myself to whoever I want to. I have always been here. It is not that I will come — I have always been here.”
Five words that destroyed a decade of atheism. All along, the God he said did not exist had been present every moment of every year — not distant, not silent. Present. Waiting. Here.
“Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?”

THE FURNACE
Trained in the Fire
God did not hand Salad an instant ministry. He handed him a furnace. A prophet spoke: “Six months from now, you will lay hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” Salad went back to his clinic and laid hands on one hundred patients. Not one was healed. Not one.
But the man who kept praying through one hundred silent answers is the same man God would use to see thousands healed across the nations. The breakthrough was on the other side of the furnace — and he refused to quit before he reached it.
THE UNSEEN REALM
Angels, Warfare & the Glory of God
The Vangs did not merely read about the spiritual realm — they were shown it. One night demonic forces surrounded their home, and when Salad’s eyes were opened, he saw a mighty angel standing guard in the middle of their living room, keeping watch until the victory was won.
Years earlier, when Tsee was a ten-year-old girl walking to school in Akron, Ohio, a man blocked her path meaning to harm her — then his face filled with terror and he fled. Decades later the Lord told her: “That day, it was I who saved you. I was standing right behind you.”
